Deck Familiar Is Live on the App Store

Every Commander pod has the same argument. Somebody claims they win the most, somebody else disputes it, and nobody has anything better than memory to back either side. I built Deck Familiar to settle it. It is now on the App Store for iPhone and iPad, and it also runs in the browser, so the table can use it whether or not everyone has the app installed. Here is a walk through everything it does.

Put the dice away

The live game tracker is where most game nights start. It tracks life totals for every player in the pod, commander damage per opponent, and poison and other counters at a glance, and it is designed for a phone or tablet sitting in the middle of the table rather than a screen each player has to keep pulling out. The best part is what happens at the end. When a winner is decided, the game logs itself, with no spreadsheet and nobody volunteering to write it down later.

A permanent record of every game night

If you played without the tracker running, you can still log who played, which decks were on the table, and who won in a few seconds. Every game lands in a full history with dates and players, and if someone remembers a result differently, past games can be edited. We have all been there.

Know your arsenal

Deck management lets you catalog decks with their commander, colors, and theme, then see per-deck win rates and game history. My favorite small feature is that it shows which decks are due for a game, so the precon you built two years ago finally gets a turn instead of sitting in the box because nobody remembered it.

Bragging rights, backed by data

Stats build up automatically as you play. You get win rates for every player and deck, head-to-head matchup history, and trends over time so you can watch the meta shift as people tune their lists. Playgroup leaderboards update on their own and let you compare players across games and decks, and season leaderboards show who is actually the best in your group over a defined stretch. Table talk now comes with receipts, and you should expect your friends to start taking Tuesday nights a lot more seriously.

Your pod, your data

Playgroups keep everything scoped to the people you actually play with. You can switch between groups and your stats stay separate, and you can invite the whole table to log their own decks. If you play with your work crew and your weekend crew, both sets of numbers stay clean.

Built for game stores too

This is the part I am especially excited about. Stores get white-label Commander tracking with their own logo, colors, and store name, so players see the store’s brand every time they track a game. The model is simple: a store pays $149.99 a month and can charge league members $5 a month. At 30 members that covers the subscription, and at 100 it is about $350 a month in profit. It also keeps players loyal, because someone with six months of stats tracked at your store is not switching to the shop across town.
